A few more images of our time in Eastern Turkey, both the cities of Kars and Erzurum as well as some smaller towns in between.

Cherries in season. Produce in Turkey is pretty incredible.

In eastern Turkey the grill the big kebabs horizontally. Not sure how that makes a difference, but it does.

This gal showed Anna around the mosque you see in the background above. Behind them you can see a honey shop. Kars is famous for its honey

Kars cheese is also famous in Turkey. This shop owner was proud of his products.

Our final stop at a bus station on the Turkish border with Georgia. We had to wait six hours for our bus. These guys insisted that we share their lunch.
